Finally, after years and years of hard work, thousands of hours of research and problem solving, I decided to Open Source my oldest major project, the ASD Clock utility, a super customizable Alarm Clock for Windows complete with Atomic Clock functionality and Alarms Synchronization between multiple computers via a third party server. I wrote everything from scratch using C++, VB6, PHP and MySQL. I worked my ass off for at least 2500 hours at this project, rewriting parts of it up to 3 times. I hope that publishing all the solutions I found while crafting it will help somebody somewhere. I discontinued development at ASD Clock but I will stay on board if anybody shows up to pick up the gauntlet and I will help with whatever I can. I am already in the process of updating the Project's documentation. The source is all up on SVN but I will take about one more month to gradually complete the diagrams and various project description files, so that anybody who wishes to continue developing ASD Clock can have an easier job. I'm doing all this while still busy with a full time job and various other projects, so that's why I need about a month for this.... read more
