Project Goals: This is an effort to fully realize the final, expansive, design vision of the Caveman2Cosmos mod for Civilization IV. Players take a civilization from the stone age to the full future realization of the purpose of life itself. Infuse the detail and granularity necessary for the game to be useful as an organic world-building tool for an RPG background and include RPG elements in play. Make complete immersion and suspension of disbelief possible through realistic, logical and real-world simulation style game rules and processes. Prepare for being the basis of massive modding and an eventual Fantasy world version that becomes a platform for an RPG project that can take the game data from here to form the background world in which the RPG can be played in depth.
