The URL you used is for browsing the code online. The correct URL for
downloading code with a svn client is described here:

http://ascend4.org/ASCEND_source_code_repository

(see also section on 'Branches' on that page.)

Definitely recommend using the svn client, as that will later allow you
to more easily submit changes back to the server.
