Dear Sir, Ma'am, Hope you are doing good. I am Deepanshu Thakur, 3rd Year B.Tech Student from Arya College of Engineering and I.T. Jaipur, India. I am writing this email to discuss about Automated parameter-setting for dynamic models. I think I have enough elixir of C and Python. You can check my work on Github <http://github.com/Deepanshu2017> and Bitbucket <https://bitbucket.org/geeksoul/c-revision/src>. I would to prove my aptness for the project mentioned above. I look forward to hearing form you. Hi All, I am in search of a strong motivation as in why we need an incompressible model for FPROPS. To my understanding, a Helmoltz method is universally valid and we are adding an incompressible EOS model to reduce the associated complexity with Helmholtz EOS. Does that sound right? Hello all, I was researching for the project on FPROPS. I found that Mr. Jacob Shealy worked on adding ideal solution functionality during GSoC'15. Since, this year's project lists "adding support of mixtures" , so I would like to know a few things. 1. Are we going to start adding support for mixtures from where jacob's project left off? 2. If yes, then what was the extent of completion of Jacob's project? Was something left or couldn't complete in adding model for ideal solutions? Thank you. |

It's not a problem. As you can see your model is converged, which means it was solved. Hi,
I tried setting up ascend.I installed all pre-requisites but when I run
'scons' as told on the page("http://ascend4.org/Porting_to_Mac
<http://ascend4.org/Porting_to_Mac#Building_the_Tcl.2FTk_GUI>") I get the
error that package 'libgvc' was not found.
I tried searching for this package on the net but could not find a working
copy.I even tried changing the env variable PKG_CONFIG_PATH but it did not
work. Can someone provide me an alternative to build Ascend on mac?
Thanks,
Pushkar.

Hi Vishnu The URL you used is for browsing the code online. The correct URL for downloading code with a svn client is described here: http://ascend4.org/ASCEND_source_code_repository (see also section on 'Branches' on that page.) Definitely recommend using the svn client, as that will later allow you to more easily submit changes back to the server. Hi, I am interested in project ' Debugging tools for DAE modelling '. And I want to know more about about it. Something about me Myself Aman Kumar I am currently doing my Bachelor of Engineering ( in short B.E ) Degree in Computer Science as my major from BMSIT&M Bangalore. Currently studying in 4th semester. I am quite good at programming in C++, C ( almost programming in C++ for last 4 years and C for last 2 years ) I Programmed basics Numerical Analysis ( like Newton interpolation etc ) methods as the project in 3rd semester as a web application and as c++ application also. C++ implementation is present in my git profile https://github.com/Subtech-tk/numerical-analysis.git . I already builded the ASCEND in my system. Could you please guide me so that I could start contributing. Thank You -- Regards - Aman Kumar |
