I really like them - very, very nice!
You can always gzip large files to fit in the bug tracker ;)
Perhaps we should try to have at least similiar colors for
officers and normal stones, don't we? It is easy to
distinguish between dark and light stones but even simpler
if both of them are a little bit yellow or brown.
But to avoid all these discussions... - How do you think
about a theme chooser? With themes consisting of board,
highlightlayer, colors for the names of the players and stones?
I think after implementing the gconf stuff we should try
this approach!

i created new tokens and a new board design.
unfortunately i cannot compile the current trunk. so i worked with the ai_contest version, but there should be no problem using all media with the branch - if it compiles.
i made some changes in the gui_board.cpp so we still have to sync my new version with the branch.
the files can be found in the download section und will hopefully be in the svn soon.
