    Zangune - 2015-10-20

My project, Analisi Rete di Zangune (ARZ), is released under the GNU General Public License version 3, so it is free software, but it is not in the public domain: you cannot do whatever you want with ARZ, you have to respect the GNU General Public License version 3.
You can read the full text of the GNU General Public License version 3 here, it is a complex text, but this FAQ list may help.
In particular, if you share my program, then you have to say I written it and you have to let people who get this program to know about the license.

Tuesday 19 October 2015 I discovered that my software was modified and redistribuited without any reference to me and without any file but the .bat modified file, this is a clear violation of the program license.
I have written to the site administrators and they removed the link to my file, but not the file itself from the site. I have written them again because they have to remove the file or they have to modify the distribution of the file itself (they have to include the copyright notice and the license file, at least).
The file itself was renamed "AnalisiRete2.zip", so be aware of this violation if you find it.
UPDATE (October 20, 2015): the file seems to be removed.

To check if a file is a copyright violation of ARZ, you should know the executable of my project is a .bat file, so it is a text file with a .bat or .cmd extension, just rightclick on it and choose "Modify" to read the code; alternatively, open a command prompt and use a command to check the file content, like TYPE, in example:

    TYPE AnalisiRete2.bat

then check the source code of ARZ (you can find it here) and, if you believe it could be my code, please let me know. To report it, you can send me a message (click here, you have to be logged in SourceForge) or start a new topic here, you can start a topic there by sending an email to f@f.arz.p.re.sf.net; if you don't want your report to be public, just let me know in the body of your report, but if you want a pingback from me, add some details on how to get in touch with you.
Anyway, I believe such violations will not happen again.

I made the copyright notice more prominent and clear in my code in arz version 0.21 revision 2.
