Hi, The reason your deploy is failing is because you are trying to deploy to local repository as anonymous with no deploy permissions. By default, anonymous user is configured to have read permissions on all repositories (permission Anything) and deploy permissions on all remotes (permission Any Remote), You can see this configuration in Admin=>Security=>Permissions. The logic behind this configuration is to enable browsing your artifacts as anonymous and allow it to build against artifactory while downloaded artifacts from remote repositories will be stored in your local cache repos for example repo1-cache. However your local repositories are designated for your custom artifacts and as admin you will have control on what is deployed on them. For more info about managing permissions configuration see this<http://wiki.jfrog.org/confluence/display/RTF/Managing+Permissions> HTH Eli The Artifactory team |
