    Hi,

I am not able to set up Maven with artifactory properly.

While running mvn install command, i am getting following message in Artifactory even after configuring proxies in Artifactory.

(o.a.r.RemoteRepoBase:199) - repo1: Error in getting information for 'org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-resources-plugin/2.2/maven-resources-plugin-2.2.pom' (Failed retrieving resource from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-resources-plugin/2.2/maven-resources-plugin-2.2.pom: The host did not accept the connection within timeout of 15000 ms).

If you need to use a proxy server in order to go out of your org intranet, then you have to set up a proxy in Artifactory and associate it with the repo1 remote repository.
There's also the chance that there was a temp network issue with repo1 - check if you can get to the POM by entering its URL directly in a browser (after clearing the cache) or with wget.
