#1 Set other users nicknames

I would like a feature to allow users to customize what they see people as, like they can in Hazordhu.

The reasoning behind this feature are the god-awful Telnet numbers. I'm set not to view user nicknames, so all the Telnets appear as only a string of numbers. Everyone around can attest to the fact that I can never get them right... :(
