    Hi,
i am using Art 2.4.1 and I have an issue using “Graph line” in my query.
    Here an example:

    alternate text

As you can see the red line is broken between February and April. I think this happens because in March there is a value for the blue line but there is no value for the red one.
Anyhow using the “Stacked Vertical Bar 3D” it is working properly.

Is there any workaround for having the “Graph line” working properly?

    Thanks!

    Alessandro

    Two things.

    • Could you upgrade to 2.5.2 and see if you get the same behaviour.
    • For the dates with only one of the items, is the other item data NULL or 0

OK. Before doing that. Could you use a date series graph instead of a line graph?

    Hi Timothy,
using date series it works but in the x axis i have a detail of the date that depends on the number of data and the width of the graph.
    For instance now i see 12Mar 27Mar 11Apr 26Apr...
If i reduce the width i see Mar-2013 Apr-2013 that is what i would to have.
Is it possible to force the detail to the Month-Year?
Another question..is the "Graph line" issue fixed in the 2.5.2 version?

    Thanks!
    Alessandro

I believe the date format is automatically determined by the charting library. Not sure if this can be forced, but that will need looking into.

About the matter with the line graph, this isn't fixed in 2.5.2. It seems to be a matter with the underlying chart library so I'm not sure if/when this will be fixed. See https://sourceforge.net/p/cewolf/discussion/192228/thread/76445939/
