html/manual issue - 
 there was a duplicate file, with a different case. i deleted the
 dup and updated the MANIFEST file

release stuff-
 yes. check it in. cvs should recognize the changes i made
 (above) and merge your changes. if it doesnt, just do something
 appropriate :-)
