Sounds right to me. I think those three are all available on my site http://www.mattreinfeldt.com/downloads -> Remedy -> Freeware ... however, the one for 5.1.2 is actually compiled against the 5.1.1 API. Should Jarl recompile that one? Matt -----Original Message----- From: Jeff McCarrell [mailto:Jef...@Re...] Sent: Friday, September 17, 2004 1:12 PM To: 'ars...@li...' Subject: RE: [Arsperl-devel] arsperl: more stuff for the list I guess when we figure out which pre-compiled binaries we need. I guess we would want 1 for the 5.1.2 server line, and the 6.0.1 server code line, I guess with encryption turned both off and on for the 6.x code lines. So that sounds like 3 binary builds to me. Are we agreed? -- jeff -----Original Message----- From: Reinfeldt, Matt [mailto:Mat...@us...] Sent: Friday, September 17, 2004 11:01 AM To: 'ars...@li...' Subject: RE: [Arsperl-devel] arsperl: more stuff for the list Jeff, one more question. When will we be putting the actual downloads over on sf.net? I'd just like to make sure it's coordinated so that I remove them from my site at the same time. That will give folks one point of distribution to look at. Subject: [Arsperl-devel] arsperl: more stuff for the list Release planning: I'd like to see us have some discussion and agreement about what "features" will get into the next release(s) and target dates for these. Doesn't have to be exhaustive, just something for we developers to synchronize around. Support for the unpublished upcoming 6.3 release of the AR system is an obvious feature for a future arsperl release Testing I'd like to see a test for every arsperl api call we support in the test suite Supported platforms I'd like to see us publish a statement about the supported versions of the Remedy API that a particular release of arsperl supports. E.g., for the upcoming 1.82, I think we should make the explicit statement that it supports the 5.x, and 6.0.x code lines. Builds / tests on supported platforms I'd like to see us have automated builds / test runs on the supported code lines. I have access to every released version of the remedy API, and with some planning, I might be able to get a couple of old machines that we could use to do regression testing against several versions of the API and running servers, at least on win32. The idea here is that I'd set up 5.1.2, 6.0, and 6.0.1 machines, and every time we have a commit to the repository, the code would get built and the tests run on all 3 of those machines.
