Your last suggestion was real helpful!

I got another problem - 

When I call the function ars_SetEntry - to modify 1 field :

ars_SetEntry($ctrl, $schema,"000000000000013", $getTime, $fields{"Log"},
"138.8.132.190")) || die "Can't modify entry $ars_errstr";

It works every other time I run the program. (It is extremely
consistent!)

Do you have any suggestions??
