use strict;
use warnings;
my $c = ars_Login($rserver,$ruser,$rpass);
if ($c) {
print "connected succesfully to Remedy Server";
}else{
print "failed miserably: $ars_errstr";
}
If the server uses a specified TCP port instead of the portmapper, the
login statement should look like this:
my $c = ars_Login($rserver,$ruser,$rpass,"","",$tcpport);
Generally it's recommended to check $ars_errstr after every API call.
