Hey,

Has anyone seen or had any experience with Rik Harris' perl-remedy
module?  He's calling it AR and it's available in your nearest CPAN
archive (such as http://www.ecto.org/CPAN/modules/by-authors/Rik_Harris/).

I just ran across it and it seems to be a definite duplication of
effort.

i looked at it briefly a while back (just before announcing our version
on the arslist) and it appeared to have only a few functions available.

the other remedy/perl module kit contains only a handfull of functions
and work on it doesn't seem to be progressing. the archive that is available
is dated nov'95.

yeah, yeah! use our module!  :-)  I've been meaning to mail the author
of the other arsperl so the two could just be combined.  His has a few
server related functions that I didn't implement.

I'm happy enough using your version, but perhaps you should look
at getting arsperl into the CPAN archive?

If I recall correctly, that's the place where they're storing
all sorts of perl modules, so that you interface with as many C
APIs as possible with perl.  (You may know this, or even know
more about it than I, but I just thought I'd say something about
it, just in case.)
