I can compile the latest ARSperl 1.9.3 using both the 7.5 and 7.6 versions of the API on a 64-bit linux platform. But when it runs, I get the following error message:
*** glibc detected *** /global/camtest/bin/perl: double free or corruption (fasttop):
Not sure if it matters, but using latest perl 5.14.1. OS is Redhat Enterprise 6.1, but also tried with latest Ubuntu.

tried the UNDEF_PERL_MALLOC=1 that someone else mentioned, no difference
Not sure about this one. I'm using api v7.6.4 and it compiles and works on 64bit linux (RH EL5)
