#1 cdda2wav and cdparanpoia

Does anyone simply know what the differences between
cdda2wav and cdparanoia are?
cdda2wav is much faster with the default settings but I
had skips and noise so I re-ripped it with cdparanoia.

Btw, I always save the arson log to the directory that
I ripped the music to.
Brian do you think autosaving the log would be a good
option?
Maybe I can automatically compress it with bzip or gzip
