Introduction

Al's Really Rad Resume Reader (ARRR) is a simple tool that was developed during a long recruiting phase to improve resume reading and screening.

Problem: Reading resumes is time consuming and often involves simply scanning manually for keywords

Solution: A tool which interactively highlights the relevant keywords within a resume

How ARRR works

ARRR is a simple tool that you run in your browser. Once you've unzipped just run the file ARRR.html and the tool will open up.

Paste in a resume and ARRR will automagically highlight the keywords you're looking for as well as calculate a match score for the resume.

Use your own keywords

To use ARRR you should customize the categories and keywords that are being scanned. Open up the file 'keywords.js' and edit the examples that are already in there. Simple. I'd like to make that easier. One day...

Once that has been done simply paste in the resume text. ARRR will highlight the keywords found and calculate a score for the resume.
