copying several lines (around 10) of text into console and the console did not accept them all and blocked itself - pressing enter does nothing, not able to close console.
Was this a shell window or another type of console window? If I block a shell by running e.g. "edit", I get a similar effect by just typing long lines: if I type almost 80 characters in each line before pressing return, I can't type any more half way through the fourth line.
