Reproduce: add debug=serial to gruboptions
result: First couple of lines of Serial output are garbled
reason: According to Beakster in this thread some initialization was
not done on boot.
suggestion: As suggested by Beakster, initialize serial port on boot ?

100% reproducable on nightly v0, v1 and every version of icarosdesktop
