jpeg.datatype ocassionally trashes memory. On i386-pc i get "Sanity check failed" guru, stack backtrace points to something called after jpeg_init_mem() (if i remember correctly).
Doesn't reproduce on i386 hosted or x86-64 (native on hosted). Perhaps has something to do with trashing several bytes beyond pool's tail. On x86-64 we have different alignment, and on hosted we already have page-aligned pools (my tests of new pool subsystem, MP-ready).
I just have no time to research this... Totally busy with i386-pc kernel face-lift.
