This works when interpreted (defun foo () #\é) but cannot be compiled: ; Compiling FOO ... ; Note: Unable to load #P"out.class" ; Unable to compile FOO. (In case it doesn't show up correctly, the character above is a Latin-Small-Letter-E-With-Acute.) I don't know if it's a bug in the compiler or just an out of ANSI-land thing, but I thought I'd mention it. Andras |
