It's been pretty quiet here and there haven't been a lot of changes to J
in the last year. However, ABCL is continuing at a fast pace and
has just released 0.19.1 which broke the build in J. I've patched up
the build breaks and am going to push a new version of J soon. For
those interested, I would appreciate it if you could download J's source
from svn, build it against ABCL 0.19.1, and give it spin.
Changes in J 0.23.0:
- support for svn
- updated icons
- added a Coffee flavored theme
New commands (see commands.html)
To build and run J from source:
- Download and extract abcl-bin-0.19.1.zip from
- Get the J source from sourceforge svn
svn co https://armedbear-j.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/armedbear-j/trunk/j
- cd j
- edit abcl.jar.path in build.properties to point to abcl.jar
- ant compile run

That's great news. Now the only thing missing to make J even more great
than it is, is SQL syntax support.
Thanks *a lot* for the new features, and for maintaining one the
greatest editors ever.
