On behalf of the developers of ABCL (Armed Bear Common Lisp) - a lisp
implementation running on the JVM - I'm glad to be able to announce
the 0.14.0 release.
This release improves - among lots of other things - handling of
special variables in compiled code. Measured by the number of failing
ANSI tests, this release is only a small step, however the project
measures "practical usability" (PU) by the number of failing Maxima
tests. Practical usability is not about conformance, but about
being able to run (pre-existing) code. This release improves upon the
previous measured on the PU scale.
If you have questions regarding its use, or you find issues, please
report back to the development list on sourceforge.net.
