This morning's development snapshot is up (j 0.19.0.12, lisp 0.0.0.40):
http://armedbear.org/j.zip (source and documentation)
http://armedbear.org/j-jar.zip (just j.jar)
The new patchmode-aware no-arg diff command now handles the situation
correctly even if the file associated with the current buffer has
embedded space(s) in its name.
It turns out that dirDoShellCommand, mapped by default to '!' in
directory buffers, didn't handle filenames with embedded spaces
correctly either. This has now been fixed.
While working on these issues, I noticed that Utilities.tokenize(),
which was supposed to tokenize command lines to prevent problems with
embedded spaces, did not properly support quoted strings, which was
really its entire raison d'=EAtre in the begin with. This is now fixed,
so things like compilation buffers and CVS/Perforce support should work
better now when confronted with filenames that contain embedded spaces.
Finally, bug 755908 ("bad autogenerated end tag in xml mode with a
PI") was reported this morning by Fr=E9d=E9ric Laurent:
If you type this text :
<p> <?pi ?> =
then if you want close the p tag, you've got :
<p> <?pi ?> </?pi>
the string '?pi>' is generated when you enter the '/'
the correct form is =
<p> <?pi ?> </p>
This bug has also been fixed.
Thanks for your support.
