This morning's 0.17.0+ development snapshot is up:
http://armedbear.org/j-jar.zip (just j.jar)
Two changes that might be of benefit to Perforce users:
1. p4Submit now offers to save modified buffers first (if there are
any). This is to help you avoid inadvertently checking in the on-
disk version of a file that in fact is open with unsaved changes
in a j buffer.
2. You will now get a warning message if j notices that a file that is
open with unsaved changes in a j buffer has suddenly become read-
only on disk.
These changes are intended to be solutions to actual problems that
have been reported in the field, but at this point they've only been
lightly tested. It's possible that they might prove more annoying than
helpful in actual practice. Please let me know if you have an opinion
on this subject, after you've had a chance to try out the new code.
In addition, this morning's snapshot incorporates a slightly modified
version of a patch from Chris Wilson that gets the old configure/make
build system working again.
Thanks for your support.
