I was trying to compile Armagetron 0.2.7.1 to fix some annoying bugs myself. I'm using MinGW/GCC 3.4.2.

The configure script always fails. I don't know why, it reverts the parameters received by the `sdl-config --libs` invocation; then every test linked with SDL fails (on MinGW the order of the libraries is important).

So now I'm trying to compile it by hand, using Dev-C++. But there are so many errors in the code, I wonder how did you generate the binary? What compiler did you use to compile the sources? Probably not a C++ compiler. :P
I changed more than 50 lines and it's still full of problems

Is the CVS tree less broken than this release?

Armagetron for windows is actually compiled with Visual Studio 6. However, if you search around the forums (http://guru3.sytes.net) there is a Dev-C++ project file lying around.
