ArmAd doesn't start on my Mac OS X 10.3.9 iBook, when I am logged in as
an ordinary User, leaving this message in the Console Program:

===== Tue May 17 2005 ===== 12:04:10 Europe/Berlin =====
Error in int SDL_main(int, char**) in ../src/tron/gArmagetron.cpp:376 :
var directory not writable or does not exist. Don't start Armagetron
directly, use the wrapper script in /usr/local/bin.

When I log in as Administrator, i can write to system directories and it
works :-) Great game, very addictive. Keep up the good work!

    AFAIK, this bug is fixed in the current CVS version, current
    snapshots can be fetched here:
    http://aabeta.dashjr.org/
    I'll keep this bug open for reference until the next release.

    This bug is fixed current CVS versions. Note that the current binary
    available at aabeta.dashjr.org will only currently run on 10.3.9 and up (the
    fix is sitting on my desktop, just haven't had time to upload it).

    Please also note my overuse of the word "current". :)
