Arkikeskus

Arkikeskus is an Android dashboard for everyday life in Finland. Its home page gathers the clock, name days, holidays, weather, spot electricity price, weather warnings, Ruuvi sensor readings, traffic bulletins, news and nearby public transport departures; each card can be hidden or reordered by dragging.

Separate views offer a 7-day forecast from the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) and Open-Meteo side by side, 15-minute electricity prices, HSL and Tampere (Nysse) journey planning with live vehicle positions, road traffic incidents and weather cameras, Finavia flight information, a GPS speedometer and a Health Connect step counter. Home-screen widgets show weather, electricity price, steps and the next departure.

The interface is in Finnish, Swedish and English; domestic news and Teksti-TV stay in Finnish.
