Shareware ARJ allows to update timestamp when testing archive, but this option is missing in open source implementation. Command
arj t -s *.arj

For ARJ shareware tests content of archives and set timestamp to the newest file in archive.
For ARJ open source tests content of archives but ignores -s switch.
