Hi all, We need a Python developer. We have choosen Python as our script language. When any voluntair appears I will explain what is exactly needed. But basically, we need to a function in Python that get as Input at least a data structure and reply with other data structure both of them being C++ classes. Any voluntair? |

Hi, Well I will take a look. What should I use as a sample data structure? JD On Mon, 26 Mar 2001, Juan Jose Blanch wrote: > Hi all, > We need a Python developer. What is better to have a simple data structure on C++ and let Python to interpret it, or to have a class hiearchy on C++ and use it on Python. I am really new to Python and I don't have any kind of experience in using such kind of developing approach (scripting language), but I know it is the correct way. |

C++ provides objects that feature the basic actions. The=20 scripting-language is used to call these actions. BTW: why do we need a scripting-language now ? Having users program their= =20 characters is so remotely in the distant that I do not consider it worth=20 thinking too much about. uli |

C++ provides objects that feature the basic actions. The > scripting-language is used to call these actions. No, because it mix them actions between C++ and Python. I have been speaking with Pythons developers and the struct approach has been recommended. (I still have to talk with the big boss in Python-C++ linking.) So I am very prone for let action be a "simple" struct, instead of a hierarchy of action classes ( as you can see I even started it). > BTW: why do we need a scripting-language now ? You have to have a Login and a Password to be able to login. If we only do things that are near, we will be changing the whole code every week. |
