Could anyone please provide me with a complete directory listing of a working installation of Arianne? I still haven't seen it really working. Currently I get a segmentation fault in CreateRandomPlayer, which probably happens because of some missing files. A directory listing will help find out what I'm missing and where to put everything. TIA. The present installation procedure does not install all files. Once I have things working on my machine I will fix that. IMO this is a definite show stopper for the upcoming release. Maybe this was discussed before, but I was thinking having a separate random number generator class. At first it would be just a wrapper around rand() from stdlib. Later on (pseudo)Gaussian distributed random numbers could be added and if necessary other distributions. The main method would be something like: int Random(int min, int max, int distr); Where min = lower bound, max = upper bound, distr = distribution type (should be an enumerated type) If random floating point are needed they can easliy be added too.
