I am working on the dialog system to support quests.
I have already commited a working code to CVS but it is too complex, so I
decided to look for alternatives about how to do it. I haven't been able to
find anything interesting but Adonthell dlgedit ( that unfortunatelly I was
unable to find ).
So I decided to give a try to dia and I wrote the dialog using Dia.
The paralelogram box means messages from player
The boxes are messages of NPC and the boxes with round bottom are code to be
executed by the NPC. There are two cases:
1) Paralelogram+Code means NPC listen the condition and code returns true.
2) Box+Code means NPC says that and do that code.
Making a Java loader for that won't be hard ( 3-4 days work ), but I am
still wondering if is there any advantage between this and pure code...
Would love to listen to opinions or ideas.
