so here it goes, continuation from:
I've drawn some lines in the attached image, onto the zelda one and on
The red lines are drawn along the roof edges. You'll see that your edges
are parallel, so the green marked part of the roof *must* be
perpendicular to the ground. The whole house kinda looks like the sketch
to the right.
Now the perspective thing:
The blue lines are lines drawn along edges that are parallel to the
ground. The Zelda house (in the middle) has an entrance where you can
look at the door beam from above, so the front is at an angle somewhere
near 45° to the screen plane (I mean the monitor glass).
In your house there is a blue dot in the entrance. Thats because the the
front is exactly parallel to the screen plane (=0°). The roof seems to
be a little somewhere at 60°-65°. Now the roof and the front should have
exectly 90°, but here it looks like 60°-65° (resulting in the right sketch).
If you remove the door and the round edges from the Zelda house (left
one) it looks off-perspective too.
As I'm no designer. I don't know how to archive the right look, but
maybe you can add to front part of your house features some parts where
you can look on it from above (like the Zelda door) to give the eye a
hint on how to treat the perspective.
Hope this helps,
