Hi :)

I tested the new client out and really liked the new wood chosen for the panel... What I don't like that much are the following things:

- The colour of the names on the buddylist doesn't fit to the wood of the panel... That dark brown on brown catches the eye and is standing in a confrontation to the gamescreen somehow, means, that at least my eyes want to take a look at the buddies which are shown as offline and that more than starring at the gamescreen itself
--> maybe using a colour like the current main-server grey for offline buddies could fit better or something like white or a non-effect dark colour like black

- There isn't a line on the right side at the transition of the buddylist and the gamescreen but there is one above at the transition from the statswindow and the gamescreen itself

- The "thick" wooden line above the text-field doesn't fit to some of the ingame colours like red roofs (example: ados church, when you are standing above of it)
--> What about making this line a bit smaller or like the one which is used for the transition of the stats window and the gamescreen?

Maybe the colours can be a bit better arranged :) But the wood is awesome! :D These are of course just ideas which came into my mind, so maybe there are some here who are having other ideas :)

Greetings

    Related to:
    - There isn't a line on the right side at the transition of the buddylist and the gamescreen but there is one above at the transition from the statswindow and the gamescreen itself

--> that happens because of longer names on the buddylist and a scrollbar which shows up then. That one doesn't let the border shown up there, it comes back when you change the gamescreen-size

The buddy list issue is rather complicated. It is possible to have a border there always if it's set to the enclosing scroll pane rather than the buddy list itself, but then it'll look thicker than the stats panel border if there's a vertical scroll bar.
I think the borders will be inconsistent in some situations no matter what. (Unless I resort to really ugly hacks, which I don't want to do)

The thick line is an active component - the user can drag it to resize the game screen, so it can not be really made much smaller to without making it hard to use. Ideas about how to make its purpose more obvious are welcome. (If you mean the lighter color compared to the right side of the panels, it's just part of the 3D look. The panels have the same color (pattern really) upper border as the drag bar).

How are the wooden panels looking now? Are the issues in this report still open?

The panels look fine as they are now :)
