I've got the same problem. It displays me a message "Can't connect to the server. System down?" or the connecting widnow just close and nothing happend...

I've got this game since it's 0.2x version, with which I haven't any problems, but since version 0.39 I can't log in.
For the new 0.40 version, I delete all previous files, I even make a new registration and I still cannot log in! :(

You can't fix it.
Just try it again to see if server is working.
