It needs a Marauroa 2.0 feature to be fixed correctly.

When you equip an item ( a new one ) your player
changes because a new item is added, so your object is
different of the previous send object and as bag is a
private slot, you are sent the WHOLE slot so you get
it.

When the item is dragged and dropped and nothing
changes, just the items position, your object doesn't
changed and although you have modified the object you
don't get the change until you get a SYNC perception.

On Marauroa 2.0 I will rework perception for this to
work.

There is still a different error condition with the same
effect. It does not need to be empty modification, as it
seems. I have it regularly now that after collecting from 5
corpses or so, the next corpse just doesn't yield its items.
The condition seems persistent until next perception or
change of zone. - There was no drag involved here,
    everything I did was double-clicking.
