Enable custom soundfont to be used when exporting to audio under OS X

I must say that I love this program so much, but there's one caveat that I wish you could implement. I've used this program under both Windows and Mac OS X, so I was shocked to see that I could export my work as audio in the OS X version. However, what I did not like was that regardless of what soundfont was selected in the preferences, exporting to audio rendered the song with the default system soundfont. If possible, I would love to see it export the audio with the selected soundfont instead. I really don't want it to render it by using my soundcard. Could you please look into this? Thank you in advanced!
Hi, the unfortunate thing is that this used to work in 10.6, but with the OSX 10.7 update it suddenly stopped working with an obscure error message and I have never been able to figure out why. Fixing this would be a major effort, so while it certainly is doable my free time is somewhat limited and I can't promise when I can get to it
Meanwhile, I believe you can use VLC to export a midi file to sampled audio with your favorite soundbank
