I suggest that Aria Maestosa should have the ability to create even shorter notes (the shortest currently is 1/128 notes).

Maybe, though 1/128 is extremely short, I cannot imagine in which cases you may need something smaller

  You are right in that one would not need any shorter than 1/128 notes in normal music. However, I make black MIDIs, and for that one needs really really short notes (up to 1/65536 notes). I posted this ticket because more and more people are starting to make black MIDI, but many people with macs find it hard since they can't find programs which create very short notes.

A 128th note has the same duration as a 65536th note—all you need is a faster tempo, right?
