Is there any way that you guys can put on a virus filter? Luckily I have antivirus protection. These people need to be caught and blocked. Thanks.

    Ares downloaded with a trojan. Antivirus caught it on install. I don't think the publisher intentionally would put a trojan into new version of Ares, but the file may have been hacked.

    As I said, I would bet your spyware/anti-virus is AVG.
    All AVG does is scan for "ares.exe" even if its not infected it will say it is.
    AVG = Crap

    Try something better like spyware doctor or Spybot Search & Destroy.

    Trojan horse SHeur.DKL. I used the program for about 5 days before AVG antivirus picked up the Trojan & eliminated access to Ares. Even after uninstalling & re-installing. You can recover Data stored (songs, etc.) by going to My Computer, Explore C Drive , & you will find the date file within Ares. I reported the Trojan, so that's all I've got.

    I scan all the files I download with avast free antivirus program get it at Avast.com free home edition. Before I had this I got a couple of nasty viruses from a couple of people on here and had to reformat my hard drive to get rid of them. It made me a little more careful and like i said i check them all now it has found trojans and stopped me from opening other virus type programs. Raybon
