Hi Petar
myFocuserPro2, version 2, uses a completely different protocol than monlite. There are no plans to introduce moonlite compatibility. The design criteria for myFocuserPro2 was to go down a different path.
myFocuserPro, or simply myFocuser, v1.xx provides moonlite compatibility and has most of the features (though not all) of the v2.xx myFocuserPro2. Again, limitations of code space meant that many things could not be done/improved, thats why when designing pro2 he only way to introduce those new features was to drop moonlite compatibility and change the serial protocol.
This version myFocuserPro v1.xx will be the only version that is compatible with moonlite and can be used on indi, and with kstars/ekos

Robert

Hi brownrb, I recently completed your project successfully and would like to thank you for offering your skills to everyone.
Do you have any plans to incorporate moonlite focuser support under V2.XX so I can use the focuser with kstars/ekos.
regards

Hi Robert
Thanks for your response.
No problems, v1.70 works fine as it is so I will continue to use it with kstars/ekos.

Petar
If there is some feature in pro2 that you need in v1.x, let me know. no promises
