You will need to email me
1. The name of the arduino firmware file
2. The name of the ascom driver file
3. The ASCOM tracelogfile
You get the ascom logfile from the mydocuments\ascom folder - enable tracing, then connect to the focuser. wait for the error, close apt then email me the logfile,
I need all this information to be able to help you
I am assuming you have made NO changes to the arduino ino file. If you have then you need to reprogram using the latest unmodified firmware file from this site

Robert
To find my email address - open control panel, uninstall program, look for the ascom driver and you will see my email address in the publisher column

Bob, I did the hardware set up from your Arduino Focuser for Manel, as he can´t do welding at home. I installed in his nano clon, the latest Arduino firmware 1.6.9 and latest ASCOM driver available in the repository.
The case is weird because I have no problems neither in APT, FireCapture or Sharcap, so we think it is a problem with APT latest version. Manel has only problems with APT.
The model Manel has is the Nano IRBT with HW203 and the DRV8825.
I was stolen at home last Friday so I cannot help now to Manel.
Thanks for your help.
PD: I have to send to you the latest PCB model I did, it is very compact.
Cheers.
Mario.
