First, i would like to thank you for the Myfocuser2 project, it has been a great addition to my astrophotograpy equipment.
I’m just running into a problem with the temp probe. I am using an arduino nano, a NEMA 14 motor, a A4988 stepper driver and a DS18B20 temp probe.
But, for some reason, the temperature probe stops working when i use the "Coil Power" option. If i deactivate this option and reconnect the focuser, the temperature probe starts working again.I have checked all the wiring and i can’t seem to find the problem.
Also, i have tried to upgrade the firmware of my focuser (i was using the 258 version) but for some reason the newer version doesn’t work with my focuser.
Could you give me a suggestion to resolve these problems?
Regards,
Diego

Hi Diego
Check all wiring/soldering. Often this is due to a shorted wire somewhere - use a magnifying glass
When you say the newer version does not work - what do you mean. Can you be more specific.
Does the comtroller reprogram? Does t start up ok? Did you also update the Windows application and ascom drivers to the latest at the same time?
I cannot go back to look at v258. I can only suppoort the latest versions. So we need to work on why the latest is not working and get that going. I am here to help
You need to provide as much information as you can. How are you powerimg the controller? 12V? What circuit did you use? A stripboard or PCB? I have no idea how you built the controller so the more information I have the better I am able to determine a likely cause. Log files are also.
regards
Robert
