I was an early purchaser of a dew controller CDAP pro way back from Dale but then decided (for a number of reasons) to make my own design as the software from them at that time I felt was inadequate and the pro version wouldv'e cost a lot more. I found Dale very responsive and his service was great.

If this project helps drive down the cost of any available "commercial" focusers, or make them produce better software at an affordable price, then I would hope it turns out to be a good thing.
