Just wanted to post my completed project. I had a ton of fun building this project. Thank you for developing the software and the documentation to go with it; I can't imagine how much work that was for you.
I did my first run with it last night (I use NINA) and with this focuser and the 27:1 stepper I had to set a pretty high Autofocus step size of over 200, but I was able to get a near perfect hyperbolic curve of >0.95 every time.
The belt is GT2 6mm and the perfect size would be about 260 but I could only get 280mm length. 240mm was too short.
I used CAT6e cable to connect to the motor. I doubled the strand pairs together and then soldered that to the 4 wires of the motor (ex. orange/orange white soldered to red wire from stepper) I haven't set up the thermomter probe yet but I will use a CAT6 for that as well.
My parts: I 3d printed a parts box for the Myfsp2 and it is way to small for the components I have listed below. Print a bigger box of another type if you go this route.

I designed the parts in Fusion 360 and printed in PETG. F3d and STL files are available at Thingiverse. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5021514

The stepper motor driver board above is not needed for this setup but does simplify setup. It is needed if you want to do microstepping.
