First off, many thanks for sharing this project. It's been great for my telescope and has been a good avenue for me to learn more about arduinos and programming. I've built a prior controller using a nano & A4988 driver, but am now trying to redo it with the L293Dmini (or full size) with an OLED screen, but can't find the firmware file. I've tried to splice in some OLED code into the L293D firmware, but can only get the OLED to light up if the L293D shield is removed from the Uno and the OLED is plugged directly into the Uno board. So given my difficulty with that I thought I'd try going the Nano + L293Dmini route.
many thanks,
Arvin

Hi Arvin
Thats because there is no firmware file for that combination.
The UNO + L293D shield option is not the best option for that.
Give me a day and let me see what I can do tomorrow -
