    Hello,
Just about to assemble my Focuser board for an 80EDT refractor and T200 newtonian. I've got an SGL focuser on my first OTA working fine but experienced some problems with SGP.
Just a little question about AAFP2 layout : If I only need ASCOM facilities and not Windows APP or push buttons, Can I power my EasyDriver 44 with a dedicate 12V regulated source and not use the vin configuration nano pin (paying attention to deal with common GND of sources). USB plug and Nano will be always connected to my hub

I've got two Nano boards, unfortunatly with FDTI driver, in the field I've got the USB always connected
I never used push buttons or winapp just Ascom Driver with RBF 3.8 .

Sorry for my poor English I'm a french user :)
    Regards
    Raph

Thanks Clive nice Trifid nebulae, stay tuned if I need some help with SGP :) Full version or minimal ?
Robert thxs for your answer, this vin pin even with the ftdi chipset is quite strange for me, I don't unterstand why with FTDI board and Vin powering, the setup and init is not launch, strange design for an embedded board in most geek's projects.
On futur layout, I will use your reference card (mine 7$ your "nano" 3.6$ !)
