Hello everyone, I have a problem with the simultaneous use of a second focuser under ASCOM.
These are two identical Arduino Uno boards with the current firmware. They both work separately without any problems. Even if I run one with Nina (ASCOM), for example, I can use the second with the myFocuserPro2 program. But as soon as I try to address the second controller via the ASCOM1 driver, there is an error message (Serial Connection Error!). Affects all programs (NINA, APT, SGP and also ASCOM Device Hub).
Is this an error in the second ASCOM driver or am I doing something wrong?
    Best regards

    Hi
I would need to see the ASCOM trace log created by the 2nd focuser ASOM1
When you see the driver setup dialog form where you specify comport, you check the Trace checkbox to enable tracing. Logs are stored in Documents\ASCOM\Logs

You are using a different com port right? for the 2nd focuser? and the speed is set to 9600?

There is no connection or interaction between the ascom drivers - I have two and use ascom driver and ascom1 driver on the other scope, so it does work. Please send the log file

    Regards
    Robert

    Hi there,
Yes, COM5 (1st) and COM6 (2nd). As already described, with the first Ascom driver (myFocuserProASCOM) both boards work without any problems. The second driver (myFocuserProASCOM1) does not work.
    Attached is the log file.
    Best regards
    Udo
