So I am fairly new to the whole Arduino world, I've downloaded the firmware (317) and installed it on a Arduino Nano CH340, for the driver I used a TMC2209. The firmware compiling and uploading was successful but when I connect it on the PC and Tried to connect through the app although it recognises the port it gives me the following error messages.
I figured out, the problem now is that the motor is only moving on one direction and then i try to move to the opposite it still moves to the same direction and the position changes to zero.

Hello Dimitris,
Your connection speed is wrong, The firmware works at 57600 Bds.
PYB
There is no option in the focuser to set the speed at 57600, it only shows these two speeds 9600 and 14400.
I figured out, the problem now is that the motor is only moving on one direction and then i try to move to the opposite it still moves to the same direction and the position changes to zero.
Hi Dimitris
What sort of motor are you using?
Generally speaking, a motor moving in only one direction indicates a wiring issue betwwn the controller and the motor.

Robert
Hi Dimitris
There was an error in the firmware that prevented the reverse direction from working.
It is fixed in the latest firmware update 321
