    Hi all, I just ordered the TMC22xx + Nano PCB from JLCPCB. I've gone through the parts list and bought some from Mouser. I don't need the full feature and just need the minimum of a focuser for my lens. I was wondering if I could omit a couple of stuff and what would I place (a jumper?)in the PCB in lieu of these parts if they are indeed important.

    As an example, I omitted the switches and connectors. I plan to use a JST connector to connect the NEMA17 and 3D print a case that would enclose the board and NEMA 17 motor together. For the on/off switch I would simply use a JST 2-pin and a jumper cap.

    Here are the things I omitted:
    * 12mm Mini Round Waterproof Lockless Momentary Push Button Switch (for PB switches)
    * Mini toggle ON OFF switch (power on reset circuit)
    * LED Bezel Holder 3mm
    * LCD 1602 I2C Module or OLED 0.9" I2C Module
    * GX12-3P Aviation connector male
    * GX12-3P Aviation connector female
    * Toggle switch mini ON-OFF SPST 2pin
    * RS232 DB9 female panel mount connector
    * Home Position Switch, On/Off momentary

    Also, for the LM7808 Voltage Regulator TO-220 package I got a L7805CV which I reckon should do the same work but am unsure if what I did was right.

    I would like to get your inputs on this.

    Clear skies!
    Sam

    this help?

    it is a LM7808. You will have issues with LM7805. We need to have a higher voltage on VIN so that it overrides USB 5V power.

      Mouser does not carry an LM7808. My local shop sells an L7808CV would that work?

      Yes the PDF did, help about omissions. Thanks!
